I'm excited to announce that book 2 in my Lily Thistle Cozy Mystery series is coming soon. Stored to Death is the name, and solving the murder is the game.

New Cozy Series: Hook, Line and Stinker, Book 1 is Now Available

I'm so happy to announce that the first book in my new cozy mystery series is now available on Amazon. Hook, Line and Stinker is the name, and for Lily Thistle, clearing her name is the game.

Lily is the new fifth grade teacher at Port Peculiar Primary School. On her first day, she takes a walk along the beach and stumbles upon the body of a local garbage man. When Lily is considered a suspect, she has to find out who really killed the womanizing dude and clear her name so the hot chief of police will think of her as something other than a murder suspect.

Download your own copy and come along for the ride while Lily learns to work around the small town gossip to find the killer.

I hope you enjoy my new book and look forward to hearing from you!

Hook, Line, and Stinker ~ It's Almost Cozy Time!

For the better part of this year, off and on, I've been writing a cozy mystery novel. What a challenge that is! How in the heck do you write a book and not give away who dun it? Well, it's tricky, let me tell you, but I think I did it.

The first book in my Lily Thistle Cozy Mystery series will be available mid-November. There, I've said it publicly so I have to publish it by then!

The series is set in the beautiful Pacific Northwest where Lily Thistle, an elementary schoolteacher, resides. She's new to town and that town is Port Peculiar, Washington. When she finds a body on a walk along the beach her first day of school, her new life is turned upside down when she's a suspect in the local garbageman's murder.

Stay tuned for Hook, Line, and Stinker!

In the meantime, check out my other books on Amazon

Back in Time, Book 3 in Time Travel Series

I recently published the third book in my time travel series, Doorways to the Past. This book, Back in Time, is a short read, just 52 pages, so it's perfect for when you have an hour or so and want to finish a story in one sitting.

Back in Time has its first review on Amazon:

"I really liked this story. It was a short, feel-good read. Interesting plot with likeable characters."

Check it out on Amazon today and see if you agree!

And Now for Something a Little Different -- Time Travel Short Reads

Earlier in July I published two time travel short reads, and now I'm working on the third story. These are really fun to write with the suspension of disbelief. I mean, time travel! Really? Yes, really! Wouldn't that be fun if we could take off on some travels? I think so, just so we could come back to the here and now!

In this new series called Doorways to the Past, Ali Cummings enters, what else?, doorways and is transported back in time. In each book a different doorway leads Ali to the past.

In book 1, Abandoned in Time, Ali meets an old family friend. In 1944. He is a young man during World War II, and Ali must convince him that she is who she is, despite the consequences that will follow.

In book 2, Caught in Time, Ali once again meets friends of her family. This time she travels back to the 1970s, and it's her parents close friends she runs into one lazy summer day at the lake. The couple, who are younger than Ali, help Ali with a mission she realizes she is there to remedy.

I hope you get a chance to take a look at these books. They're both free if you have Kindle Unlimited and are just 99 cents to buy.

The Marriage Deadline, chick lit/romance/humor all rolled into one!

I'm excited to let you know that I published The Marriage Deadline earlier this month. It's a fun look at one woman's desire to get married, online dating and the highs and lows that come with that, and life in general and what it means to be happy.

Here's the book blurb:
Jill Johnson, 33, wants to get married, but she has no hot prospects on the horizon. Heck, she doesn't even have any cool prospects in her life. After attending yet one more co-worker's wedding, Jill decides she too will be married within a year.
If you get a minute, take a look. I think this story is a fun read, and it's a bit longer than my other books at nearly 160 pages.

The Marriage Deadline is available on Amazon. If you're a Kindle Unlimited member, you can download it and read it for free! I'd love to hear what you think.

Thanks for stopping by!
